Healthcare Data Analyst (Hybrid)

Massive Bio is a rapidly growing health-tech startup founded in 2015 to provide every cancer patient with access to clinical trials regardless of their location or financial stability.  Our proprietary patient recruitment and enrollment enablement solution for oncology clinical trials solves every point of friction in traditional clinical trial enrollment. Privately held and headquartered in NY City, our passionate changemaker team is looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst.   

Massive Bio is looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst to join our team in our Istanbul, Turkiye office. As a Healthcare Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data to provide valuable insights that support our mission of improving patient care. You will work with a diverse team of professionals to transform raw data into actionable information that drives decision-making and innovation in healthcare.  

Reporting to the Healthcare Data Director,  you will: 

Crafting a Holistic Data Strategy: Support formulation and implementation of a data strategy that perfectly resonates with the company's goals and aspirations.  

Fostering Data Governance: Manage and contribute to robust policies, procedures, and standards that will work to uphold data quality while ensuring privacy and security are never compromised.  

Data Collection and Integration: The initiative to aggregate healthcare data from many sources, including, but not limited to, electronic health records (EHRs), clinical trials, and genomics data, guaranteeing seamless integration and management.  

Upholding Data Security: Champion the implementation of stringent data security protocols to shield patient information, all while ensuring steadfast compliance with vital regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.  

Encouraging Collaborative Innovations: Work hand in hand with multidisciplinary teams encompassing technology, clinical, and business development spheres, fostering data-backed solutions and pioneering innovations.  

External Collaborations: Oversee and nurture relationships with external data providers and collaborators, assuring a continuous influx of high-caliber healthcare data.  

Delivering Regular Updates: Develop and deliver incisive reports to senior management and stakeholders, facilitating a clear communication channel and promoting informed decision-making.  

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Healthcare Informatics, Data Science, Statistics).  
• 4+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a related role.  
• Knowledge of SQL, PowerBI, Strata, statistical and data tools.  
• Knowledge of healthcare data sources, including EHRs, claims data, and clinical trial data. 
• Familiarity with healthcare data sources, terminologies, and standards.  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.  
• Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.  
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.  
• Living in Istanbul, preferably on the Asian side,   
• Work location is Kozyatagi, Istanbul; at least 2/3 days a week at the office.   
• No military obligation for candidates.
